Without a lot of luck, and a lot more information, this may not be possible to answer. Sport is not a well known "house" brand, such as J C Higgins, Westernfield or Revelation. It could have been made by any of a number of companies that would relabel their guns to a "store" brand, and does not appear in my cross reference lists- and single shot ,22 bolt actions are very prolific.
Can not be answered without a DETAILED description of ALL markings, type of sights, barrel length, ammunition capacity, etc..
sounds like a hi-standard but w/o a pic I dunno......you might try breaking it down and looking over the body of the weapon with a fine tooth comb
22 Long Rifle
@35 years
I fire short in mine
$100-$150
This rifle was given to me by my grandfather in 1949.
Impossible to answer without knowing who made it.
1961-1978
Long action.
It depends on the particular model of the rifle, not the caliber it is in. What model and make is it?
