Father Lemaitre made the Big Bang Theory. WHY DOES HE HAVE TO MAKE SUCH A THEORY?ANS:BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO GIVE MONEY TO THE POOR.IF THEY LEARN ABOUT ASTRONOMY THEY WOULD WANT TO GO TO SPACE AND GIVE MONEY FOR SPACE EXPLORATION.WHY DO THEY HAVE TO THINK ABOUT THIS THEY WILL DIE WHEN NEEDED , WHEN THE UNIVERSE DIES AWAY , WHEN THE WORLD DIES IT WILL AS GOD WANTS.WHAT'S THEIR PROBLEM.
There are two pieces of evidence for the big bang theory.
1. The red shift effect-the apparent shift in the spectrum of light from an object.
The red shift effect is caused when one object, in this case galaxies, is moving away from another object at a very high velocity. When this happens, the light is sort of stretched out causing it to move down the light spectrum to red. This is the same thing as the Doppler effect but with light. This shows that the galaxies are moving away from each other.
2. Hubble's Law-states that the velocity of a galaxy is proportional to its distance to us.
Basically, the farther away a galaxy, the faster it is moving. If galaxies are moving away from each other, then this suggests that there was once a massive explosion about 15 billion years ago, when the universe began.
3. Background Radiation- is found everywhere in the universe and it is the result of the big bang.
Ah, the biggest question in cosmology! If you could come up with an answer, it would practically guarantee you the Nobel Prize in Physics.
The honest answer is that nobody knows yet, but a number of eminent astronomers and astrophysicists each have their own, entirely incompatible, ideas. At some point in the future, someone will come up with an explanation that satisfies most of the objections and suggests some avenues for further research to clear up the remaining points of disagreement.
But as of 2011, the only answers that you can find - and there are a LOT of them! - are guesswork and speculation.
(Actually, the above is about the Big Bang itself. The THEORY came about, as do most theories, in order to explain certain experimental observations... specifically the fact that everything seems to be moving away from us (on a large scale) and that the speed at which it is moving away from us is greater the further away it is Extrapolating backward, it looked like everything in the universe was in more or less the same place about 15 billion years ago. We've since refined the theory a little but the basic concept is still sound)
Georges Lemaitre, a Catholic priest and scientist, was the first to suggest the basic idea.
Hello i am minakshi answer is that the big bang theory is an example of old scientific theory as big bang theory explains that there was an explosion but the isotropy and the homogenity of the universe is not explained by big bang theory to explain his we connect inflatation theory with big bang theory to explain it so the big bang theory is also an example of old scientific theory.
The Big Bang Theory is a widly accepted theory in the scientific world because of the fact that it has less loopholes than others made to oppose it.I believe 1-2 loopholes are contained in The Big Bang Theory.

The duration of The Big Bang Theory is -1320.0 seconds.
The Big Bang is the theory that was developed to describe the origins of the universe.

there was never a big bang GOD made it of course

The Big Bang Theory is set in Pasadena California.
The duration of The Big Bang Theory is -1320.0 seconds.
Big Bang Theory is available for rental only.
I know of no such reference for a "natural" Big Bang Theory. Must be just another way of referring to the Big Bang Theory with a differing focus (i.e. kind of like the Hot Big Bang Theory).
The Big Bang is the theory that was developed to describe the origins of the universe.
No. The Big Bang theory came a lot later.
There is no recurring "boss" character on Big Bang Theory.
