Nobody really created Origami. But it was 'made' during the Heian period of old Japan. Then it was traditionally given as presents from Samurai at celebrations with a Nori, or good-luck charm. Or, they had made paper butterflies at Shinto weddings to represent the bride and groom. Then it generally spread out during the 1960's or 80s'.

Its not specified who did it it could have been one or more people but its no clear. But it originated from China in the first or second century. Also look up Akira Yoshizawa his Japanses but his name comes up alot.
