Their tepees were also made from the buffalo hide . Aparfeche was used by the Plains INDIANS TO CARRY THEIR POISSESSIOS. aND THAT WAS ALSO MADE OF BUFFALO HIDE .THE ARTISTS OF THE plains USED BUFFALO HIDES FOR THEIR ARTWORK.

The vast herds of buffalo that lived on the plains were the main resource of food, clothing, and shelter for the plains Indians. Their meat provided most of their diet, and their hides were made into clothing, and portable tents called teepees.
In the Great Plains, there is a lot of wood. Bows and spears made out of wood are very common in the Great Plains. Not a lot of Bison exist in the Great Plains, so they can't make teepees either. There weapons consist of nothing other than spears and Bow and Arrows.
