The best thing to do would be to call the manufacturer and give then the item number of your appliance.
In searching for a part for an older Rival slicer, I found that www.abtecparts.com listed many of the parts. Some, including the one I was seeking, were marked "no longer available" but did show the part picture. Other parts were available and could be ordered.
lallin@juno.com has some newly manufactured, functional replacement parts for Rival slicers; such as blade washer and rubber suction cup feet. Sometimes has old slicers being parted out to supply donor parts.
First of all, unplug the slicer. Get gloves, and take off the blade. Take apart the slicer parts, and use a cloth or sanitation cloth to clean the insides of the head.
Cut out intron parts (parts that don't code for anything) of the genetic material during transcription.
