Permanent dentures would be the best way to go as they are an in-office procedure and it has a high documented success rate. You will also get to experience psychological benefit of closely resembling real teeth and dentures will wear out less quickly compared to the regular ones. Though as good as it sounds, it comes with a hefty price.

The Dentist generally prescribes the denture be made, takes the impressions of the mouth, or has one of his employees do it and then sends it to the dental laboratory to make a wax up that will be be what the final denture will look like. The wax up has to be approved by both the patient and the dentist for the laboratory to move forward to the denture processing. Laboratories that specialize in dentures can do fantastic replications of the mouth and make the dentures look like its not even a denture. Custom Denture Characterization it is called.

Any general dentist should be able to provide you with a workable denture. However, if you want to see a specialist, you would go to a prosthodontist.
