IIRC Mossberg. No sn data available.
- I own one of these, they were made by FN using Mauser actions. The markings are on the receiver under the stock. Mine does not have a serial number, from the info I could find on when Mauser made that type of action (Sako trigger, sliding safety) my guess is it was made in the 1950s.
Old gun catalogs, auction sites, gun shop, gun show
Made 1989 to date, sold for about $150 new, No serial number data published.
You can try Numrich gun parts, ( e-gunparts.com )
answers.com cant find any of my questions!
Yes. All firearms will exhibit a preference for certain loads. The only way to find out it to buy as many different brands in different bullet weights as you can afford and shoot them. The rifle will shoot one better than the others. Sometimes you get lucky and it likes a wide variety.
Google 1917 eddystone, then find the link for us military rifles then type in your serial number you can get the month and year of manufacture of the rifle action. it should be July 1918 for the serial number you provided. don't know much about price. hope this help a little
After checking 5 different references, I cannot find a Hawthorne 740. There is no maker registered under the name Hawthorne, but it WAS used as a brand name by Montgomery Ward for firearms sold by them. However, my crossover references for store brand guns does not list a model 740. The store brands generally have little collector interest, and derive their value from being a shooter. A stab-in-the-dark guess for a working 30-06 rifle would be anywhere from $150-$250. Sorry- this one has me stumped.
Crosman no longer makes the Model 622. It was in production from 1971 to 78. I don't believe you can find one in a store anymore.
These air guns are made in Japan and were distributed through Hawthorne New Jersey. I suggest you go online and search for "air gun repair" there are independent shops that repair air guns for a living.
The Crosman 140 Air Rifle was made from 1954 to 1968 in four different variations. Crosman no longer makes parts for the rifle but you can still get it repaired. The Crosman home page offers a "Find a repair center" button on their first page. From there you can locate a center that has parts for your rifle. See the related link.
That will depend on the make of the rifle and the age of your pump rifle.
