The Executive Branch of government is headed by the President of the United States, with the Vice President of the United States.
Within the Executive Branch are fifteen federal departments:

Within these fifteen departments are federal agencies, which are tasked with enforcing Federal Laws, carrying out federal mandates, protecting U.S interests, and assisting with the executive agenda.
There is only ONE Executive Branch but it consists of MANY agencies - far too numerous to start listing here.
Suffice it to say that the Executive Branch of Government is charged with CARRYING OUT all the laws passed by the Legislative Branch and therefore, has many agencies to do so.
