its actually a very inspiring story that im to lazy to right but
the kill a sheep but most Muslims feel sad about it and don't eat it some eat it and some don't but mostly don't eat it and its the time where they give food and money to the poor all eids are like that the money and food part not the sheep part

the 1st Eid "Eid AL Fitr" comes the 1st day after the holy month of Ramadan to celebrate that we were fasting the holly month, on eid wo break our fasting and families and relatives visite each others. Eid al fitr means breaking of fast ! the 2nd Eid "Eid L Adha" comes in the 10th day of the 12th month OS the Islamic calender , which the month of Hajj in this Eid som people sacrifice a "sheep in some countries camels" to God & the give 1/3 of the meet to the poor , 1/3 to families & friends. 1/3 to themselves. Eid al adha means the sacrifice of the sheep !
Of course not according to the islamic teachers they say that it is haram to sacrifice chicken on Eid-Al-Adha. It should be camel. goat/sheep, or cow/buffalo
