in 1991 Croatia was attacked by Serbia, and the war began. Croatia won the war and became an independent country
YES!
I think that One Direction will come to Serbia in November 2013.Or on there next world tour. But i think they are not coming to Croatia..sorry
Croatia and Slovenia declared their independence in 1991 and Serbia disagreed with that decision. At the beginning there were a few conflicts and then it grew into a war between Croatia and Serbia. Slovenia and BiH were attacked too. But Croatia suffered the most. War in Slovaenia lasted for 10 days i think but the war in BiH was the most terrible thing ever seen. Serbians were killing everyone who is not serbian - croats, mulims and bosniaks. The relationship Croatia and BiH to Serbia is still tense.
Serbia has disagreements with Croatia.
Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (SHS) was established after the first world war in 1918, before that, Serbia was an independent kingdom, while Slovenia and Croatia were a part of Austro-Hungarian empire. So if you are referng to Lazar Kolisevski, who was born in 1914, he was born in kingdom of Serbia.
They never did. Slovenia and Croatia declared independence from Yugoslavia first, which the Yugoslavia army opposed, starting a 8-day war in Slovenia and a war in Croatia lasting 2-3 years. Serbia didn't exist at the time. It was just a republic in Yugoslavia. Serbia became a proper country when all of the other republics of Yugoslavia had broken away and declared independence.
Croatia won its independence against Serbia. Bosnia & Herzegovina too.
Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, BiH and Montenegro were once Yugoslavia.
