Nobody really "owns" Samoa. Samoa has a mixed government of parliamentary democracy and constitutional monarchy (i.e; There is a "Head of State") N.B: Head of State is not a "King". This differentiates Samoa and Tonga.

The manu'a island is on the Samoan islands. The Samoan islands is found in America. It also consists of three main islands Ta'u, Ofu and Olosega. It has also a volcano doublet which I am now trying to work out what they are called!

Samoan people come from the Samoan Islands in general or, in particular, the country Samoa (officially the Independent State of Samoa), which is in the western Samoan Islands, which are in the the south Pacific Ocean.
The United States gained islands in the Eastern Samoan Islands. This settled a dispute between Germany and the United States.
