Disney pays dividends once per year, usually in January. In 2008 and 2007, the dividends were $0.35 per share. It was $0.3057 in 2006. Here's hoping their either raise their dividend or offer it quarterly!

Free parking at the theme parks is available for Disney hotel guests and Annual Passholders, as well as Tables in Wonderland members (after 5 PM only). If you are looking to save on parking expenses, here is a tip: there is free parking at the water parks and downtown Disney. Drive to Downtown Disney, park close to the Cirque Du Soleil and walk to the free Disney transportation center behind the Cirque. Buses there will take you to any park you wish to visit. If you have a handicap parking pass, you can also take advantage of free valet parking at any Disney hotel and take transportation from there (handicapped guests do have to pay for parking at the parks).
Walt Disney world is soo expensive because alot of people go there for vacation and they need alot of money to supply their guests with activities and alot of celebrities and characters come to entertain the people and they have to pay them to do that and also to build more parks and hire more people.

Fireworks on the Fourth of July are considered a public good because they promote patriotism. Cities and towns pay for the fireworks. They get the money from sponsors, donors, and their budgets.
