In the first Terminator movie, Arnold Schwarzenegger was a robot who was programmed by people in the future to kill Sarah Connor above all costs. So that was his main objective in part one - to kill.In part 2, it was explained that all of the terminators looked pretty much the same (like Arnold Schwarzenegger). So technically, the robot in the second movie was a different one than the first movie. This robot was programmed by Sarah's future son, John Connor, to go back and save Sarah and John. That's why he was good. His main objective was to protect, not to kill.

Well it depends on the type of robot and if you can use it. Having a robot in general would be 1 of 2 things, helpful or just plain fun. so yes, it would be good to have a robot.
How many seasons of terminator the Sarah connor chronicles will there be?
As of April 6, 2009, the show has not be canceled but the ratings are not good. There is a possibility it will be canceled this year. The finale of season 2 was shown on April 10th. To me, it seemed like it could either be a season finale or a series finale. It could end the show, but it leaves a lot to be tied up. Personally, I think the show's survival hinges on the success of Terminator: Salvation. Here's hoping for a season 3!
