All living things pollute. Even nature pollutes. Oil was used by early Indians fr example. They looked for natural springs of oil that seeped from the ground into pools. Oil would also seep into streams and lakes.
Animals often will urinate in water. Poisoned fruits will blow from bushes into drinking holes and poison the water.
There is one difference between these pollutants though and the ones caused by man. We have the ability to control much of ours.

∙ 12y agoTo be honest, everyone has polluted the water. Maybe not on purpose, but the gas and stuff from everyday things can put pollution in our water. It's a very sad thing. So for all you people that are reading this, try to help and don't leave try laying around! And if you smoke, cigarette buds NEVER decompose, so if you throw your bud inn the ocean, you're polluting the water FOREVER.
