According to Mark's gospel, Jesus predicted the apocalypse, or violent end of the world, to occur during the lifetime of many of those present. Mark 13:2 first has Jesus predict the destruction of the Temple, "And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou those great buildings? There shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down." According to Mark (13:24-26), Jesus went on later to tell the disciples that they would personally experience social turmoil and persecution, there would be earthquakes and "But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light and the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken and then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory." He concluded by saying, "Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done." An oblique reference to the Book of Daniel implies that the predicted end of times would occur within about four years of the destruction of the Temple (thus 74 CE).
There were seven Maya Prophecies. They never said this was the end. They did
say there would be a "New Beginning". Not unlike modern politicos. Man said "But
what they really meant was?" Some said how can there be a new beginning, without a end? Easy! Change your ways. Put back what you take. Don't waste what you've got. Quit trying to be a Spirit Guide for Mother Earth. She does know best. If there were a "end" as we know it. Survival chances are better in the Yucatan, than anywhere else on this Planet. The Yucatan is the only place where there are NO above grounf rivers. Yet there are many undergrounf rivers and cenotes. I was in Oregon, right after a Forrest fire. The ground was still smouldering in some places, yet new growth had begun. A few of my friends have purchased land near Izamal.
The plan on making a "Hippie" type (for lack of a better word) communal living place, that's not about how much money you have. What skills can you bring.
A place where a Fence tender is as important as a M.D. Everyone has their place.
The Maya word El Mayab means "a few." I take it as A few will always be happy. A few will never be. It is a choice. Jack Twobears said "It is so simple to be Happy. Yet it's most difficult to be simple. I'm discussing going with a few of my friends.
No one of us can be as strong as all of us.... "Lila Waste" is a Lakota word. Google it. malo_pax
For one it's 2012, and I believe Nostradamus
for whoever answered before, Nostradamus actually DID predict 2011, the Mayan witchdoctors predicted 2012.
Apocalypse, often depicted as a catastrophic event or the end of the world, is a concept seen in various religions, myths, and beliefs. There is no definitive date or time predicted for an apocalypse, as it remains a speculative and uncertain concept.
Aztecs never actually predicted anything. Everything people say they predicted was a lie to get people to believe things they say. For instance, the 2012 zombie apocalypse will never actually happen because the Aztecs never had a power to predict the future.
Apocalypse - Apocalypse album - was created in 1991.
A joke about the Aztecs that is short and sweet goes like this: "The Aztecs predicted the 2012 Apocalypse? That's funny, because they sure didn't see the Spanish coming."
After the Apocalypse was created in 2004.
To my knowledge there is no "Apocalypse" model. There are Apocalypse formations for each army though.
chocolate, microchips Chocolate doesn't really rhyme with apocalypse. There are no perfect rhymes for apocalypse.
an apocalypse simply means the end of the world
no one. it is the apocalypse.
The duration of After the Apocalypse is 1.2 hours.
