a ship
The name of the boat that the pilgrims rode on is called the Mayflower.
No they did not, because they rode on the Mayflower and the Speedwell, but the Speedwell was leaky, so it had to go to shore, so they rode the Mayflower and some got sick, some died(even if there was some doctors on the Mayflower), and some got seasick.
I believe that would be the Mayflower Compact. Named after the ship they rode to North America the Mayflower.
There was actually three boats that the Pilgrims used to come to America. The three boats were the Pinta, Santa Maria, and most importantly, the Mayflower. Most of the Pilgrims rode on the Mayflower because she was the largest.

The group that rode the Mayflower to Plymouth Colony signed an agreement that they would live under laws that they made. This made it a social contract. It was a contract among the parties living there. While New York was founded by the Dutch 10 years earlier, the people there lived under rules made by an organization in Holland. Some made sense and some did not apply in the particular situation. The people did not have the same relationship with each other.

rode
Verb: to ride; simple past: rode; past participle: ridden It would NOT be correct to say "have rode", since rode is not the participle. You would either say "we rode them" or "we have ridden them" to be correct.
