The color of British combat uniforms was referred to as khaki. A corps of British soldiers in India introduced this uniform in 1848. The word khaki is from the Urdu language of India, and it means dust colored.
The first working color television was shown in London in 1928 by John Logie Baird. Three years earlier, he had demonstrated the world's first monochrome television. Although the monochrome television went into service in 1029, the color version was never sold commercially. The first commercial use of color television was in the US in 1953.
Possibly, the film cleverly started out in black and white then (Morphed) into technicolor in thecyclone-transformation sequence. The theme song certainly suggests color reactions! somewhat oddly I have only seen the filom on black and white television sets. I do not care for this type of fantasy.
Like what. Some are harmless and even beneficial towards historical subjects- Battle of the Bulge, for example if one is into war history. Certainly anything that is R-rated or Off-Color is not for kids.
