God said that man would have to till the soil for food and that the soil would yield thorns. He said that man would work all the days of his life and would return the earth in death. "For dust you are, and to dust you shall return." God also blessed man with the vastness of his own divinity. For, man can attain up to God himself or lead a life wasted.
