No particular person started heavy metal, rather, certain bands inspired it. Heavy metal evolved from blues rock and psychedelic rock. Bands like Led Zeppelin, Cream, and Deep Purple laid down the groundwork for heavy metal, however, they themselves are not heavy metal. The first band to be considered heavy metal even today is Black Sabbath, who released their first album in 1970.
Yes, they are. In the liner notes of the original Cd release of Machine Head, which was originally issued in 1972, Deep Purple are credited with giving birth to heavy metal after the release of the Machine Head album. Two schools of thought here. Some say Deep Purple are metal, but most people say that they are a very heavy rock band with some metal tracks. I agree with the latter.
Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple are the forefathers of heavy metal. Globally, the exporting of these crucial albums led to the creation of other metal bands across the world.
The brand famous for its deep tones is Warwick. This is because it uses exotic woods for body and neck, which means they are fairly pricey. Great for deep reggae and heavy metal, as well as other genres.
Ian Gillian of Deep Purple was one of the pioneers of heavy metal vocals. Check out the song "Child In Time" for a perfect example. The first metal band was Black Sabbath, and Ozzy Osbourne was the vocalist with them. Robert Plant and Gillan have also been cited. And btw, it's Gillan not Gillian.
NIB, Black Sabbath Pictures of Home, Deep Purple (actually anything Roger Glover played on, may not be quite metal but it's still brilliant)
Deep Inside was created in 1998.

Yes, yes there is. If you read the lyrics of many, there is a meaning much more deep than radio and rap music.
