8 men signed both the declaration of independence and the constitution of the U.S.
he only signed the declaration of indepenence, he did not sign the constitution!
Benjamin Franklin, George Clymer, Roger Sherman and James Wilson signed both the United States Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. Not sure about the Articles of Confederation.
For one thing, he was the ONLY person who signed both the Constitution AND the Declaration of Independence.
They both give you independence.
i think it was the philosophers of the Enlightenment who influenced both the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution.
both of these. the constitution of the us and the declaration of independence
The Independence Hall is this building in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, is sometimes called the "birthplace of the United States." Both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were signed in the Independence Hall. In 1776 the Liberty Bell was rung from the bell tower. It called the reading of the Declaration of Independence.
Both were drafted and signed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, although 11 years apart. The Declaration of Independence was signed on July 4, 1776 at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The US Constitution was signed by 39 of the 55 delegates to the Constitutional Convention, on September 17, 1787, at the same location, which was then known as the "Pennsylvania State House".
he signed both the declaration of independance and the constitution.
Independence Hall in Philadelphia Pennsylvania is where both the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution were written. It is now the center of the Independence National Historic Park.
George Read, Roger Sherman, Benjamin Franklin, Robert Morris, George Clymer, James Wilson
Tomas Jefferson and John Dickson both refused to signed the Declaration of Independents.
The two most important founding documents of the United States, the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution were drafted, debated and signed in Independence Hall, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Although both documents had to ratified, or passed, by the governments of the individual colonies or states, they were also signed by the delegates to the conventions in order to show their agreement.
In both Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
Roger Sherman from Connecticut; George Clymer, Ben Franklin, Robert Morris and James Wilson from Pennsylvania; and George Read from Delaware.
Both were inspired by ideas popularized during the Enlightenment.
John Hancock signed both versions of the Declaration of Independence. He signed the first one on July 4, 1776. That was the version that no other delegates signed. Then he signed the second version on or about August 22, 1776. That is the version that most, but not all, of the other delegates signed and the one everyone thinks was signed on July 4th, but was not.
The six men who signed both documents were: 1. James Wilson 2. George Read 3. Roger Sherman 4. Benjamin Franklin 5. Robert Morris 6. George Clymer
The two people who signed the declaration of independence were John Hancock and Charles Thompson. They both wanted liberty or independence from great Britain. The British were harsh and they abused the colonists. They caused taxes on everything. Even tea! How ridiculous!
It was Samuel Adams...saw it on a beer commercial
They are both US documents. Also, they were both written before the first president was elected.
