It is in the secret cutscene in the original Final Fantasy. It is also in the ova Before Crisis(?). In Crisis Core it is towards the end, and is quite amazing. It is right before the scene where Zack fights the tanks and soldiers and helicopters all by himself.

Why did cloud join soldier?
I dont even remembering him join soldier. in crisis core he always said he wanted to be soldier. and at the end of crisis core he just calls himself 1st class even though he never was soldier...

acually crisis core is before the events of the acual final fantasy 7 cloud get th buster blade when Zack dies right after he faces alot shinra troops when he was done fightiing the troops 3 three troops came the middle troops shoot him in the head but survives while he is still alive he give the blade to cloud but cloud does not take it.Zack gets the blade from angeal when Zack fights angeal. the end. if ur wondering cloud does not aceept the balde he leaves it at the place where he died
