After Julius Caesar's assassination in 44 BC, there were two more civil wars. One was between the supporters of Caesar and his assassins. The supporters won. The Final Civil War f the Roman Republic was between Octavian (later he was called Augustus) and Mark Antony. It ended in 30 BC with Octavian's Victory. Three year later (27 BC) Octavian became first emperor under the name of Augustus. This was 17 years after Julius Caesar's death.
