Walt Disney drew the plans and everything for Walt Disney World but he died before consruction was finished, and he never got to see his dream. But, then his brother, Roy, took over to finish the building after Walt. Though, it took him a while to agree because Roy didn't want to be head of Disney, but he did agree, finally.

There was quite a lag between Roy Disney's death before Michael Eiasner took over. Walt died in 1966. Roy died in 1971. Walt's son in law Ronald W. Miller ran the company in between. Ron married Walt's daughter Diane. There is confusion between Roy O. Dinsey (Walt's brother) and Roy E. Disney (Walt's nephew). Roy E. Disney is the one who brought in Michael Eisner in 1984. Ron Miller remains an unknown name to most people, and there's contreversy about his legacy since the company was in need of help at the end of his reign, but he's the one who actually was running things as the company completed Walt's vision of Epcot at Walt Disney World.
