General Pierre Toutant Beauregard was the Confederate general who took over command of Confederate forces after Joe Johnston was wounded and claimed the victory at the first Battle of Bull Run. He turns up in the Western Theater of the Civil War and takes over when Confederate commander Albert Sydney Johnston is killed at the Battle of Shiloh. He is transferred to the coast at Charleston and is in charge of defense there. Brash and flamboyant, his clash with Jeff Davis causes him to fall out of grace early in the war.
