Here is a little about James Earl Ray. He was born on March 10th, and was convicted of the murder of Martin Luther King Jr. on April 4th. He was caught by the police a little while later. He hired one lawyer, then he hired Percy Foreman. Percy Foreman had only lost a few of his cases, and pleaded with Ray to "not go to trail," because then he may be sent with the death sentence. Ray agreed, and said he was quilty. He was sent to prison. A little while later, the judge got a letter that Foreman was no longer the lawyer for Ray. Even though Foreman had probably saved his life from the death sentence. Ray died in jail in the 1990's.
