Jimmy Tuff was the rodeo name for Norman Henry Price, born in Canada in the late 1890's. He was a furrier for the Canadian Army, then immigrated to the USA, and eventually settled in Cody, Wyoming. He was a cowboy's cowboy. He worked on various ranches in the Cody area, cowboying and then guiding big game hunting trips into the Yellowstone country and eventually bought a ranch on the Northfork on the Shoshone River, on which he raised Registered Hereford cattle. He was married to Elsie Strauss, they had seven children. He was one of the founders of the nightly rodeo in Cody, and known for his ability with horses.
