John F. Kennedy did eat at the Canajoharie Hotel in Canajoharie, NY. My grandfather, Edward McKone was the proprietor of the hotel at the time. At the time he was Senator Kennedy and he was campaigning for the presidency. I believe the date of his visit was in Sept. 1960. From what I understand the Canajorarie Hotel is no longer there. I think my mom said it was demolished to make a parking lot. Kelly
