Ruth's second husband was Boaz of Bethlehem. Read the Book of Ruth. Very good story.
Ruth's second husband was Boaz. He was a wealthy landowner who showed kindness and generosity towards Ruth and her mother-in-law Naomi. They later married, following Jewish customs.
Ruth's second husband was Boaz
Ruth's first husband's name was Mahlon, son of Elimelech, an Ephrathite from Bethlehem; who's tribe was Judah. The name Mahlon means "sick" and his brother, Chilion's name means "pining." What is interesting about this question is the fact that Boaz, the second husband of Ruth;a Moabitess (a generational legacy of the incestuous relationship between the daughters of Lot(who wished to preserve their father's heritage by laying with Lot) with their father while he was drunk) was also of the tribe of Judah. The Mosaic law had a provision in it that allowed a surviving blood relative to redeem the inheritance of a deceased relative by marrying into the family and paying any debts owing in the deceased person's account(seeDeuteronomy 25:5). This was done one of two ways: by either levirate marriage or by the kinsman redeemer ritual. Boaz was a near kinsman to Elimelech; Naomi's(Ruth's mother-in-law) husband. There was; however, someone living in the environs of Bethlehem of Judah who was of nearer blood relation than he, who had rejected the proposition of redeeming the legacy of Elimelech by refusing to marry his deceased son's wife, and then providing her with an heir. One could not buy the land if one was unwilling to also marry a widow and be prepared to provide a son to pass on the inheritance to. The first-born son born to such a union became heir to the entire households of both the living redeemer and of the deadman being redeemed. Boaz allowed this person first opportunity to perform this act of righteousness, and when he declined, declared publicly his intention to do so. In Ruth 4:9 Boaz announced that he had not only bought Mahlon's but Chilion's inheritance as well.
Naomi's husband is Eli.
Orpah and Ruth married Machlon and Kilyon, but who married whom exactly is not specified (Ruth ch.1). The order of the names, if taken respectively, implies that Ruth's first husband was Kilyon, not his brother Machlon. Her second husband was Boaz (Ruth ch.4).
Sapphira's husband was Ananias. They were a couple in the early Christian church who died after lying about their donation to the church.
Elkanah (1 Samuel 1:1, 2)
The Bible does not specify but it states that he was of the family of Elimelech, who was the deceased husband of Naomi, Ruths' mother in law.
