Electryon.
In Greek Mythology, Heracles was born to Zeus and Alcmene, with Amphityron as his foster father. In Roman Mythology, Hercules was born to Jupiter and Alcmena. His father is definitely the same god in both mythologies and judging by the similarities in the name of his mother, I assume they too are the same mortal.
His father was the Greek god Zeus and his mother was a mortal named Alcmene.
Hercules' father was Zeus and his mother was a mortal woman named Alcmene.
Alcmene was a mortal
Alcmene was the daughter of Electryon, king of Mycenae. She married Amphitryon, son of Alcaeus, king of Tiryns. Her husband accidentally killed her father. Then her uncle, Sthenelus, exiled Alcmene and her husband. They fled to Thebes. Alcmene asked her husband to avenge her brothers. While he was away, Zeus came to her in her husband's form. She became pregnant with Hercules. She later had two more sons with her husband.
Hercules was the son of Zeus and Alcmene.
Alcmene was a mortal woman in a Greek myth.
Zeus and Alcmene. Alcmene and Zeus conceived him but he was also raised by Amphitryon (Alcmene's husband).
Zeus, the Greek King of the Gods was Heracles' Father. Heracles also had a foster father, Amphitryon, who was the husband of Alcmene, the woman Zeus impregnated.
Alcmene was the mother of Hercules and the wife of Amphitryon, but the night she conceived Hercules and his twin brother Iphicles, Alcmene mated with both Zeus, who had disguised himself as her husband, and Amphitryon. As a result, Zeus was Hercules' father, but Amphitryon was the father of Iphicles. So Technically its only Hercules' half brother.
He is the great-grandson of Perseus. Hercules is son of Alcmene. Alcmene is daugther of Electryon. Electryon is son of Perseus. However both of the also share same father, Zeus. So Hercules and Perseus is half brother.
