And Napoleons own son was King of Rome. His Marshals, there are 26 of them, were all given Dukedoms, some more deserving than others. Two were sovereign Princes, the aforementioned Murat & Prince Berthier, his long serving Chief of Staff. Principally Napoleons military opponents of note are: Archduke Charles of Austria, Kutaisov & Prince Bagration of Russia, Blucher of Prussia and of course the Duke of Wellington from Britain.
