There is no definitive answer to your question. The Acts of the Apostles tells us little. Some sources say that they were both killed in the same year and on the same day - Peter by crucifixion and Paul by beheading under orders from Roman Emperor Nero towards the end of his reign. That would be about 67 or 68 AD. The Catholic Church celebrates their memorial on the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul on June 29 each year. There is a link below where you can read more.

.Nero is regarded as the persecutor who killed Peter and Paul. Nero did hear the evidence in regard to Peter and Paul cases but disregarded them since he was Anti-Christ

At first Peter didn't trust Paul, but he remembered that Jesus said to forgive your enemies, and so he did accept him in the end.
