It was Julius Caesar
Gaius Julius Caesar, Dictator of Rome.
Julius Caesar died on March 15, 44 BCE, in a conspiracy orchestrated by a group of Roman senators. They feared his increasing power and potential monarchy, leading to his assassination during a Senate meeting. Caesar was stabbed 23 times by the conspirators, including notable figures like Brutus and Cassius. His death marked a significant turning point in Roman history, ultimately leading to the end of the Roman Republic and the rise of the Roman Empire.

Julius Caesar was, famously, forewarned to "beware the Ides of March". He was subsequently stabbed to death onMarch 15th of the year44 BCE, the 'ides' of the month.
Julius Caesar was stabbed on the Ides of March, March 15, 44 BCE, in the Theatre of Pompey in Rome. He was attending a Senate meeting when he was ambushed by a group of conspirators, including Brutus and Cassius. The attack was a result of their belief that Caesar's power threatened the Roman Republic.
Julius Ceaser was a Roman politician from around 60 to 44 BCE, a member of the Julii family which was one of the patrician families who supposedly can trace their ancestry back to the days of the Roman Kings. He led the conquest of Gaul (France) and raids on Britannia (Britain). His disagreement with General and politician Pompey resulted in a civil war in which Pompey was killed. Ceaser then called himself Dictator for Life, he was stabbed to death on the steps of the Roman senate by a group of Senators one of which was Marcus Brutus (Descendant of one of the men who ousted the last Roman King, ironically). The nephew of Julius named Octavian Ceaser became Augustus Ceaser the first Roman Emperor.

Calpurnia's "fault" was that she was there when Julius Caesar was assassinated by a group of Roman senators in 44 BCE. As Caesar's wife, she was caught up in the tragic events surrounding his death. However, she was not actively involved in the plot, but rather a victim of the political conspiracy against her husband.
On 15 March 44 BCE, the Roman dictator Julius Caesar was murdered.
Until March 15, 44 BCE, the Ides of March were simply the appearance of the full moon, but from this day forward, it marked the bloody assassination of Julius Caesar in which he was stabbed repeatedly by the senators (Vernon, National Geographic).
The highest social class in the second century BCE was known as the Senatorial Class. It included all men who served as senators and also their families.
Julius Caesar was legally married three times. His first wife, Cornelia Cinnilla, was the daughter of one of the great leaders of the Marian Party. He was married to her from 83 BCE until her death in 69 BCE. Second wife, Pompeia, was the daughter of the Roman dictator, Lucius Cornelius Sulla. He was married to Pompeia from 67 BCE, until their divorce in 61 BCE. His last wife was Calpurnia Pissonis, daughter of a Roman consul, who he married in 59 BCE and remained married to until his death.
