(Luke 1:20) But, look! you will be silent and not able to speak until the day that these things take place, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their appointed time."
(Luke 1:22) But when he came out he was not able to speak to them, and they perceived that he had just seen a supernatural sight in the sanctuary; and he kept making signs to them, but remained dumb.
(Luke 1:62-64) Then they went asking its father by signs what he wanted it to be called. 63 And he asked for a tablet and wrote: "John is its name." At this they all marveled. 64 Instantly his mouth was opened and his tongue loosed and he began to speak, blessing God.
