Samuel Pearson Goddard Jr. (born August 8, 1919 in Clayton, Missouri; died February 1, 2006) succeeded Paul Fannin as the twelfth Governor of Arizona, serving between January 4, 1965 and January 2, 1967, including the whole of 1966.
