Following the end of Harmon's term as Governor of Ohio, James M. Cox (born March 31, 1870 in Jacksonburg, Ohio; died July 15, 1957 in Kettering, Ohio) became the forty-sixth Governor of Ohio, serving between January 13, 1913 and January 11, 1915.
