Pattison as the twentieth Governor of Pennsylvania, serving between January 18, 1887 and January 20, 1891. Following the end of Beaver's term as Governor, Robert E. Pattison (born December 8, 1850 in Quantico, Maryland; died August 1, 1904) renewed his term as the nineteenth Governor of Pennsylvania, serving between January 20, 1891 and January 15, 1895.
