James Stephen Hogg (born March 24, 1851 in Cherokee County, Texas; died March 3, 1906 in Houston, Texas) succeded Lawrence Sullivan Ross as the twentieth Governor of Texas, serving between January 20, 1891 and January 15, 1895, including the whole of 1892.
