William E. Glasscock (born December 13, 1862 in Monongalia County, West Virginia; died April 12, 1925 in Morgantown, West Virginia) succeeded William M. O. Morgan as the thirteenth Governor of West Virginia, serving between March 4, 1909 and March 14, 1913. Following the end of Glasscock's term as Governor, Henry D. Hatfield (born September 15, 1875 in Mingo County, West Virginia; died October 23, 1962 in Huntingdon, West Virginia) became the fourteenth Governor of West Virginia, serving between March 14, 1913 and March 5, 1917.
