The last Welsh King was Owain Gwynedd (1170), the last Prince of Wales (whom was Welsh - duh!) was Madog ap Llywellyn (i think was 1409). I think the last living Prince of Wales who was Welsh (not English), was Prince Einion. The Principality was actually founded around 1206.
