I've also wondered this. I've read in The Bible that says they are just wise people that ran a few churches and there are 24 of them. But I don't know details or who they are. My only theory is that they are some kind of enlightened beings chosen by God.

∙ 12y agoIf you are referring to the 24 elders seated at the throne of God the answer is no one knows. Many different hypothesis exist on this topic but there is no answer within scripture.
