Islam first reached Ghana through Muslim traders & missionaries. The king of Ghana did not convert to Islam. Nor did the majority of the people. But the king did not allow Muslims to build settlements within his empire. this is written in the 7th grade history book p.156 paragraph 3 Islam first reached Gahna by Muslims traders and missionaries. Nor the king or the majority of people convert to Islam, but the king did'nt allow Muslims to construct within his empire. this is the way i changed it a little. -marlenne l. :)

There are 3 levels of Islam: 1. Al-Islam 2. Al-Eman: 3. Al-Ihsaan
Islam is a monotheist religion which is one of 3 Abrahamic religions. The other 2 being Christianity and Judaism. All 3 religions trace themselves to Abraham although in Islam, Abraham was not the first Muslim he is still regarded as a major prophet and an ancestor of Muhammed. Many rituals in Islam like the Hajj and circumcission can be traced to Abraham. Muslims regard Islam to be the belief in God which was held by Adam and his children and even people thereafter. Therefore Adam was the first Muslim. Islamic tradition says that the faith brought by Muhammed was a confirmation and continuation of the faith brought by Jesus who is regarded as a prophet in Islam. In turn Christianity was brought as a confirmation and continuation of Judaism which traces itself to Abraham. Thus these 3 form the Abrahamic religions.
before Islam: people had 360 deities as God and prayed them. people believed stars are daughters of Gods. people had a very low level of health and cleaning. Islam said there is only one God named Allah that is not human and is not material and there is no other God and prophet destroyed all deities. Islam brought high level of cleaning in life. Islam banned wine Islam fought slave-holding and removed it step by step. and many others
I guess your question is reference to the differences, 1. In Judaism, IE Jews don't accept Jesus and Muhammad as prophets, where as in Islam, both Jesus and Muhammad are considered as prophets, 2. Judaism came before Christianity and Islam, later came Christianity in continuation of Judaism.. and then came Islam in continuation of Christianity. so you can say Islam is most updated version of both Christianity and Judaism. but Christians and Jews don't accept this fact, but Qur'an makes it clear in a lot of verses about it. 3. Few(few, not all) Muslims and Christians don't like Jews for a reason that Jews by history known as people who killed Jesus, and various other prophets. there are few other minor differences in aspects to culture and geopolitics , but those are not that much important to mention. There are few similarities between Judaism and Islam as well 1. monotheism 2. only eat halal meat 3. both think of Moses as prophet
the first three are 1.ISLAM 2.Christanity 3.Judaism
