This question is asked kinda in a weird way. People have always thought magnetism and electricity are separate things. So it wasn't any one person who made that distinction. However, you want to know who were the first ones to connect the two ideas, I think they are Ampere and Faraday.
try this site... http://www.electricityforum.com/who-invented-electricity.html Another important man in both fields was Nikola Telsa who helped invent AC current
Faraday demonstrated that.
Michael Farady is best known for his work in the field of electricity and magnetism. He discovered the effect of magnetism on light, discovered and named Diamagnetism, the behavior of substances in magnetic fields and he was the first to produce an electric current from
Hans Oersted discovered Electro- Magnetic Induction in 1820
I found this answer on a similar question: "Magnetism and electricity unifies as a phenomenon known as Electromagnetism. This idea was first put forward by great scientist Micheal Faraday."Hope it helps. :)
It was not invented actually.. Manes was the person who was a herder in ancient greece.in his stick there was an iron screw .when one day he was going with the herd in the field his stick attracted towards a stone and he put that stone out .from there people started using it.SO HE FOUND THE MAGNET NOT INVENTED
Yes, too much magnetism can be deadly. Too much magnetism can be deadly because of the attraction between magnetic material may be fatal to human life.

The English scientist, Michael Faraday. He invented the first dynmos and electric motors after experimenting with inducing magnetism by passing current through conductors.
William Gilbert was 56 years old when his work on magnetism was first published. He was born in May, 1544, and died in November, 1603.
Hans Oersted discovered Electro- Magnetic Induction in 1820
Hans Christian Ørsted discovered the relationship of electric current to magnetism.
Who were the first to discover a substance with magnetic properties

i have no idea? i know that thales was the first to discover static electricity.
No one invented electricity. However if you are asking who discovered and proved electricity, this would be Benjamin Franklin.
Magnetism and electricity unifies as a phenomenon known as Electromagnetism. This idea was first put forward by great scientist Micheal Faraday.
Electro-Magnetism was just discovered. Antibiotics had not been.
Newton did not invent electricity. The very basics of electric charge had been discovered millennia before Newton's birth. The English physician William Gilbert advanced this somewhat looking at the relationship between 'electricity' and magnetism 43 years before Newton's birth. All this work was fundamentally with "Static Charge" rather than what we now generally know as electricity. Michael Faraday was the first to apply electricity and magnetism to a practical use through the invention of the electric motor, transformer, and other electrical devices we use every day. The first battery was developed by Alessandro Volta in 1800 some 73 years after Newton's death. For lots more info on the discovery of electricity see the Wikipedia link below.
