This is one thing to check off if you are sure you you had seen a ghost. It would also matter if you had seen it at night or in the day. If you had seen it when you first woke up (or anything like that) or in the middle of the night, it is possible that you HADN'T seen a ghost, but you were in a dream, or a figment of your imagination. What is probably the most important is if you had had a loved one or a relative pass away. My mother had an experience when her grandmother had died, and she came back to say farewell to my mother. They might come say a message to you also!
