Queen Elizabeth I was the last Queen (and Monarch) of England. Since 1603 there has only been a monarch of the United Kingdom.
Many people find this very hard to believe.
The Queen today has the official title of,
'Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.'
The last Queen of England was Queen Anne who became Queen of Great Britain on May 1st 1707 after the union of England and Scotland.
The last queen consort was Queen Elizabeth but the last female monarch was Queen Victoria, 1837-1901.

William and Mary
1603
England ceased to be a kingdom in 1707. The present monarch is Queen of the United Kingdom. The last Queen of England was Mary, Wife of William of Orange. I do not have a clue how many servants she had.
The last monarch of England was Queen Anne, who reigned from 1702 to 1714. She also held the separate titles of Queen of Scotland and Queen of Ireland and was a claimant to the throne of France. During her reign, in 1707, the Act of Union united the crowns of England and Scotland and she became Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain.
It certainly wasn't any of those two. The last Monarch of England alone was over three hundred years ago. Not since the Union of the Crown has there been a King or Queen of England but of the United Kingdom. I should think it was Queen Elizabeth I or who ever was before King James VI.
