The tragedy of Apollo 13 was that it exploded in space, and the trip was canceled. Jim Lovell also becomes the only man till today , to go to the moon twice and not to walk on it . He went to the moon in Apollo 8 and Apollo 13. It is areal pity.
Apollo 8 was first to go to the moon. But Apollo 11 astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin were the first men on the moon.
They did. About 17 men went to the moon.
Only Americans went to the Moon.
The fifth man to walk on the moon was Alan Shepherd.

Neil Armstrong went on a mission to the moon and he marked his footprint on it so he was the first man ever to step on the moon( his left foot was the first to touch the moon)
Actually I believe we can. There are already plans to go there. Depending what you mean by "we", "we" already went there. No people went there so far, but robotic spacecraft did. Please note that with current technology, a trip to Mars takes much longer than a trip to the Moon - a round trip to Mars would take a few years. That makes it somewhat difficult (and dangerous) to send actual people.
Yuri Gagarin? The Russian cosmonaut? Yuri never went to the moon. He was the first man in space, orbiting the earth April 12, 1961.

Virginia Moon went by Ginnie.
He went in search for Gold.
Went is "fue" (fway), as in, "Como fue su viaje?" (how did your trip go).
Only Americans went to the Moon.

No. Well it depends how you phrase your question, he was famous before his trip to the moon by all the test drives on rockets and shuttles he did. So he went to the moon after he was famous.
