Roman Catholic AnswerIn the final analysis, one would have to say that God gave the Church a clear body of doctrine and unified purpose under the leadership of the Holy Father (the Pope). This has been worked out, over the centuries, in the Ecumenical Councils, the teachings of the Early Fathers, and the common teaching of the Magisterium.

Most Christians think this is a biblical doctrine. The doctrine of the trinity is expressed by Jesus' words in the Great Commission: Matthew 28:18-20 ................baptizing them in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit. There are other clear indications of the Trinity in the Bible eg 2Co 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. Christians who think this are called Trinitarian Christians
He was a preacher, writer and spiritual director in the district of Chablais. His simple, clear explanations of Catholic doctrine, and his gentle way with everyone, brought many back to the Roman Church. He even used sign language in order to bring the message to the deaf, leading to his patronage of deaf people.

The Church of England has revised it's opinion on hell. Annihilation is becoming a common topic in organized religions. Annihilation is the belief that at death the sinners/unsaved will be punished and then completely destroyed making them eventually non-existant. Unfortunately, this belief is not biblically sound. Jesus talked much more about hell than He did about heaven, making it very clear that hell is a literal place and those who inhabit it will endure torture for an eternity. New church doctrine claims that after judgement all sinners will be completely consumed and detroyed.
Political reasons To combat Arianism, by trying to make clear that the Son is equal to the Father (yet inadvertently diminishing the importance of the Holy Spirit)
Some religious fanatic named Arnold Ahlstrom. The site itself appears to be devoid of official sponsorship by any church. Quite a number of statements on this site line up precisely with official doctrine of the Mormon church. This does not mean to say that the Mormon church is either explicitly or even implicitly behind the site. What is clear is that the views expressed on this site line up almost precisely with Mormon theology including: Rejection of the Christian doctrine of the trinity Sin in Eden being regarded as a necessity rather than a curse Mormon themes on Apostolic authority Mormon teachings on who Jesus Christ is and what He did on the cross. These are merely examples and there are probably more but the pattern is clear. I would not refer to the person behind the site as a religious fanatic. He is a Mormon, or an ex-Mormon who still believes most of what Mormons believe. God the Father is referred to as a 'ruling supreme being' and is superior to Jesus Christ, who is his first 'spirit-child'.
