Who was the only non professional soldier in picketts division?

There were many non professional soldiers in Pickett's division at the Battle of Gettysburg. Of his brigade commanders James L. Kemper of Virginia was the only non professional. He was an officer in the Virginia Militia when the war started and was also Speaker of the Virginia House of Delegates. He was severely wounded during Pickett's charge but would survive the war and later become Governor of Virginia. He died in 1895.
