Wales never joined England.
Wales is a pricipality and member of the United Kingdom. The last Welsh King was Owain Gwynedd (1170), the last Prince of Wales (whom was Welsh - duh!) was Madog ap Llywellyn (i think was 1409). I think the last living Prince of Wales who was Welsh (not English), was Prince Einion.
The Principality was actually founded around 1206.
The contries Joined to England are Scotland and Wales.

There isn't one. The UK includes, England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and islands. The mainland, which is England, Scotland and Wales is referred to as Britain. For the record, Scotland and Wales are not in England. They are all different areas that happen to be joined up.
England and Wales, who joined in 1536.
The Union Jack was formed when England and Scotland joined to become Britain (they joined when James I became king). At this time Wales was part of England so was not recognized as a separate country.
Britannia was the ruler and Britain was Scotland, wales, England, Cornwall and Ireland all put together.
