Her name was Athaliah. She's found in II Kings several times. Most notably though in II Kings 11.1ff where she ordered the killing of the entire royal family (her own grandchildren!) to consolidate her ascension to the throne. Luckily one of those grandchildren survived (Joash) and became king when he was 8 years old, thus deposing his grandmother Athaliah. (Incidentally had she killed Joash Jesus would never have been born since Joash was the last surviving member of the Davidic line. Luck or providence? I'm going with providence!)
The standard Christian Bible does not identify Ahab and Jezebel as siblings.Ahab was a Jewish king. Jezebel was the daughter of Ethbaal, a Sidonian king. Therefore, they weren't brother and sister.
No, they are not related. Ahab was a Jewish king.Jezebel was the daughter of Ethbaal, a king of Sidonia.
If you are referring to Ahab in the Bible, then that would be Jezebel.
The Bible's Jezebel, wife of Ahab the king of north Israel, had three children (two sons and a daughter).
Jezebel was eaten by dogs; Ahab died by an arrow in battle.
Jezebel, according to 1 Kings 16:31, says that she was the daughter of the king of the Sidonians. This indicates that Jezebel is originally from the city of Sidon. Later she became queen to Ahab who was the king of Samaria.
Ahab was Jezebel's husband.
Elijah.
Queen Jezebel's husbands name was Ahab.
Jezebel's fate is described in the Bible, where it is mentioned that she was killed shortly after Ahab's death. After Ahab's death, Jezebel was thrown out of a window by eunuchs in Jezreel, upon the orders of Jehu.
