Lennin along with two others started Pravda as an underground paper in 1912. In 1918 it became the official paper of the Communist Party.
He was influenced by his trips around Latin America, which portrayed the malnutrition, illiteration and opression of the proletariat by Yankee economic and political domination. He was heavily influenced by Karl Marx, Mao Tse-Tung, Lennin etc. The revolutions in China and Russia as well as the attempted revolution in Bolivia and the events in Guatemala educated him in what it would take for a revolution to be successful which was basically warfare. He was also deeply moved by Fidel Castro's determination and confidence.
The February Revolution in 1917 did not affect it at all, because the new Provisional Government kept it going just as the Tsar had done. The October Revolution eventually ended Russia's participation in the war when Lenin entered into the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk with Germany. After that, Germany moved the military forces that were fighting the Russians over to fight the French and English on the western front. That increase in military force could have won the war for the Central Powers but then the United States entered the war and added its forces to the Allies.
At war's start, the Red Army comprised 299 infantry regiments. Civil warfare intensified after lennin dissolved the Russian consistuent Assembly (5-6 January 1918) and the Soviet government signed the Treaty of brest-Litovsk (3 March 1918) removing Russia from the Great war. Free from international war, the Red Army confronted an internecine war with a loose alliance of anti-Communist forces, comprising the Revolutionary Insurrectionary Army of Ukraine, the "Black Army" led by Nestor Makhno, the anti-White and anti-Red Green armies, and others. The 23 February 1923 "Red Army Day" has a twofold, historical significance; the first day of drafting recruits (in Petrograd and Moscow) and the first day of combat against the occupying Imperial German Army. your welcome hope all works out well with this answer please subscribe to my blog @ iamanerd4history@googleblogs.com

Lennin along with two others started Pravda as an underground paper in 1912. In 1918 it became the official paper of the Communist Party.
It originated in the Soviet Union by Vladimir Lennin, Karl Marx and Fredrich Engel. Although people such as Jesus Christ had the same Ideas the Soviet Union technically originated it.
